Lithopone B301
Properties :
Lithopone is the perfect combination of zinc sulfide with barium sulfate. lithopone has low oil absorption and excellent rheological properties. white powder, non-toxic, tasteless, odorless, insoluble in water, high chemical stability and alkali resistance. Can release H2S when act with acid. Good heat resistance, can improve the weather resistance, Mohs hardness is 3.
Technical Data:
Item | Standard |
Total Zinc Sulfide and Barium Sulfate,(m/m),% | 99.36 |
Total Zinc(Zinc Sulfide),% | 30.2 |
zinc oxide,% | 0.28 |
Volatile at 105℃,% | 0.16 |

Application
Due to its rheological and optical properties, lithopone offers technical and economic advantages wherever organic and inorganic resin systems need to be relatively highly pigmented for specific applications. Lithopone has therefore traditionally been used in putties, mastics, jointing and sealing compounds, primers, undercoats, and marking paints. In powder coatings it is possible to replace TiO2 partially, very economically.
Package:
In plastic woven bag with net weight of 50kg each, or as per requirement.
